Place-based Education in New England and Beyond!

MARCH 15 – 17, 2007
Thursday – Saturday | Lake Morey Inn, Fairlee, VT

NEW this YEAR:
Request for Proposals!

Help make this year’s conference a success! If you or someone you know would like to lead a workshop, download the RFP now (Word Document, 90K) and return it by November 15. We solicit dynamic workshops that will inspire and nourish both those new to the field, and those seeking ongoing motivation and support.

“The POP conference gives me both the skills and the support I need to do place-based education in my school. Just knowing there are other people out there doing it helps me to feel less isolated. And this year…I plan to bring my superintendent. Then he'll see the magic and the potential of this work.”

–7th Grade Science Teacher

Join colleagues from New England and beyond for an inspiring conference that celebrates the power of place-based education. Nonformal and formal educators, program managers, school administrators, historical society members, land managers, and community members from the New England region are invited to three days of workshops and networking.
