Research Scope:

8 sets of students, one class exposed to EIC programs and the other with no environmental focus. Two comparison sets were from same school, the other six from neighboring schools with similar demographics.

Research Design

SEER looked at standardized student test scores, conducted site visits, teacher surveys and interviews.

Summary of Findings

SEER found that EIC students outscored their peers in all academic areas, they had fewer discipline issues and they were more likely to show up for class.
